Come learn how to be a Survivor, not a Statistic. Mass shootings happen without warning anywhere at any time, even a place like Vinings. Preparation determines life or death. A specially-trained Cobb County police officer will demonstrate life-saving steps you can take during traumatic, murderous events.
The Boy Scout motto is right. Be prepared!
- What one critical step on entering a store, church, office, restaurant can save your life?
- How can you spot trouble before it starts?
- What instant stress reliever technique pulls you back from panic?- Why can listening to the primitive part of your brain save you?
Meet at Cochise Club
Fancy a cool, crisp morning of adventure out and about in your village? Well, okay, we can’t promise the cool or crisp but we can promise the never-ending adventure of collecting the booty left behind by the thoughtless litterbugs who pass along our main roads.
Come join us at the Cochise Club at 10:00 a.m. to pick up your stylish Volunteer, traffic yellow vest, your plastic gloves, orange rubbish bags, a grabber and a road area. From there we will head out and work our way toward our reward of pizza and beer. Come have fun with your neighbors.
All candidates have been invited. They will speak and then answer written questions from the audience submitted to the moderator. (Cards and pencils will be provided.) Plan to come early, space will be limited by Fire Marshall's rules. Carpool when possible. Early voting period starts that day, so this is your chance to listen and make your decisions.
Come and meet your next elected officials who will make decisions on important matters that affect YOU. ALL ARE INVITED!
